Justin Bieber Tour Bus Stopped, Driver Cited For Drug Possession.

One of the tour buses used on Justin Bieber's tour was stopped and cited for the presence of drugs, including drug paraphernalia and a small amount of marijuana, Sunday night. According to the Detroit Free Press, U.S. Customs and Border protection confirms that the bus was stopped Sunday as it attempted to enter the U.S. on the Ambassador Bridge, coming from Windsor, Canada. Justin Bieber was not on the bus at the time and went on to perform at the Joe Louis Arena in Detroit. The bus driver was cited and the bus was allowed to continue its scheduled trek without any further incident.

Kanye West 'sent prince clothes.

Kanye West and Kim Kardashian have reportedly sent the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge a gift for their newborn son.

The British royal couple welcomed their first baby, HRH Prince George Alexander Louis, into the world in a London hospital on July 22. According to UK newspaper The Sun, Kanye and Kim, who recently welcomed a child of their own, were keen to congratulate the couple. Apparently they sent Catherine and William clothes for the newborn prince that reflect Kanye's style. "They sent William and Kate mini versions of Kanye's clobber, including skinny jeans and hoodies," the outlet reports. It's unknown how well the royal couple received the reported gift. "It depends if the Cambridges want to dress him in it," a source said of whether they will acknowledge the offering. The Duke and Duchess are currently enjoying their first weeks of parenthood out of the spotlight, after introducing their son to the world last week.

Beyoncé's Rep Responds To Delay of Fifth Album

The saying "perfection takes time" might be one Beyoncé is sticking by for album No. 5. At the top of the year, Blue Ivy Carter's mom had the BeyHive (and just about everyone else) itching for new music. Months later, Queen Bey has dropped a few records ("Grown Woman," "Standing on the Sun" and "Bow Down"), posted shots from the studio, collaborated with Jay Z and The-Dream for their albums, but has yet to announce details behind her own.

The mystery led MTV News to ask "What's Going on With Beyonce's Album?" after a Hollywood Reporter article claimed she scrapped 50 songs and put the album behind schedule. A rep, however, denied the rumor, telling the Huffington Post that no release date had been set for the project, No matter how slow she takes things musically, the year has shown the power of Beyoncé. Aside from singing at the presidential inauguration and headlining the Super Bowl halftime show, she inked multi-million dollar endorsements with H&M and Pepsi, both of which made for cross-promotional efforts by fusing two of the three aforementioned singles within their ads. For now, all that's publicly knows is the album will be out this year, potentially led by "Bow Down."

Toni Braxton Loses Rights to Songs Following Bankruptcy Deal.

Toni Braxton is feeling the side effects of the bidding market. During her second bankruptcy filing, the veteran R&B superstar struck a deal by using her songs to settle with her debtors. In the deal, Braxton gave up the rights to 27 songs from her hit catalog with a clause to buy them back for $20K. Unfortunately, the deal also meant that Braxton could be outbid for the songs, and that is exactly what happened. According to TMZ, a buyer name Ross M. Klein doubled Braxton's price, and yanked the songs for his own. Included in the 27 songs are "You're Making Me High," "How Many Ways," and "Always." We're pretty sure Miss Braxton is pissed over this, and will be moving rocks in hopes to getting her precious tunes back. Source: www.singersroom.com.

Beyonce - Standing On The Sun Ft. Mr. Vegas (SOS Reggae Mix).

Beyonce's "Standing On The Sun" gets a turn up treatment with a new reggae remix featuring dancehall star Mr. Vegas. On the reggae-infused summer banger, the R&B superstar exudes sensuality through lyrics like, "I can’t deny your desire, feel like I’m on fire. When you touch me, I feel the flame they can never feel." She even channels her inner Latina by crooning her toxic lyrics in Spanish. "Standing on the Sun" comes on the heels of B's latest leak "Grown Woman." No word if any of these songs will appear on her much-anticipated forthcoming album, the follow up to 2011's 4. Queen B is currently on her "Mrs. Carter Show" world tour. As far as her forthcoming fifth album, a rep for the entertainer told the Huffington Post recently that the project is not delayed, insisting a release date was never scheduled. Quincy Jones is crossing over into music education. He and Chris Vance  are co-creators of the music edition of a Rosetta Stone type learning software called Playground Sessions. Jazmine Sullivan Teases New Music.

The R&B world went dark in 2011 after Jazmine Sullivan announced that she would be taking a break from music to figure herself out. A year later, in 2012, the lights came back on after Ms. Sullivan took to Twitter to broadcast that she has returned to the studio to work on her third album. "So I'm in the studio writing a freak nasty song [with] pops my mom and two aunts... Lol. #uncomfortable," Sullivan tweeted. She later adds, "Btw... I'M WORKING ON MY NEW ALBUM!!!" she wrote on Twitter. Things went dark again for a while, but now, the "I'm Not A Robot" songstress is actually showing off music that she's been working on. In a new Instagram upload, the singer-songwriter teased fans with a new record with the caption: "Something New." She writes: "I just wanted you guys who’ve been patiently waiting on me to know I’ve been working. That’s no official single tho. Just a song. My feelings." Throughout her time away from music, fans have demanded the young singer's return as many declare her an important voice of her generation. She has received high praises from peers, veterans and music insiders since her break-through debut album, 'Fearless.' Source: www.singersroom.com.

Frank Ocean Suffers Tear to Vocal Chord; Cancels Shows.

Frank Ocean has canceled his sold-out Australian tour after suffering with throat problems on opening night, reports Billboard. Doctors informed him that he has a tear to one of his vocal chords. The rising R&B star had launched his inaugural tour Down Under with a concert Thursday night at Melbourne’s Festival Hall. But he was noticeably off-key on his opening night. During a performance of “Forrest Gump,” he told the audience, “I’m sick… I don’t know if you care,” according to reports. Ocean’s Friday night show at the same venue has been shelved, and two shows next week (July 29 and July 30) at Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion have also been axed, tour promoter Live Nation said today. His planned performance at Splendour in the Grass this Sunday now won’t go ahead. “After last night’s concert… it was necessary to seek medical advice due to vocal issues Frank Ocean experienced during the show,” the promoter comments in a statement. “It has subsequently been confirmed that Frank has suffered a small tear to one of his vocal cords and has received medical advice that he must rest his voice.” Ocean’s mini-tour was built around his planned appearance at Splendour, in the east-coast beach town of Byron Bay. “With Splendour already in full swing this is devastating news for the event and will be for many of our patrons,” a spokesperson for the festival said.
